Coastal Security Police
Seven Coastal Police Stations are in functional in U.T of Lakshadweep at Kavaratti, Kiltan, Androth, Minicoy, Agatti, Kadmath and Chetlet for security of the Costal area of the Islands. In this, Kavaratti, Androth, Minicoy and Kiltan notified in the year 2008 and Agatti, Chetlath and Kadmath notified in the year 2011. There are six Interceptor boats to have surveillance in territorial water up to 12 NM.
